Physical ARA (DES) deals of ACPRS coal

April 9, 2009: Three spot deals were realised on April 7 at the physical thermal coal market of globalCOAL.

These ARA (DES) deals of 50,000 tons each for delivery in June 2009 were settled at $66 per ton fob (two for delivery at Rotterdam) and $68 per ton (one for delivery at Amsterdam/Rotterdam of ACPRS).

According to Tex Report data, six deals - with a total tonnage of 350,000 tons for delivery in May 2009 - and five for delivery in June 2009 were realised in the price bracket of $67 to $70 per ton fob at the same market on April 6.
